- Payment information processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage analytics (Google Analytics 4): anonymized page views, session duration, referrer.
- Submissions you contribute (oral histories, photos, family submissions) — these are subject to the rights described in the Terms of Service.
How we use it
To provide, maintain, and improve the service; to bill subscriptions; to communicate about your account; to detect abuse. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
California (CCPA / CPRA) and EU/UK (GDPR) residents have the right to access, correct, delete, or export their personal data, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal data. We honor these requests for all users regardless of jurisdiction.

Cookies & analytics
We use first-party cookies for authentication and Google Analytics 4 for aggregate, anonymized analytics. You can opt out of GA4 via your browser's Do Not Track setting or by installing the official Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
